Dec 21st The Love of One Another
In our conclusion of the series of love PURE love lets recap what has been discovered. Love that is true originated from God to mankind. It shows itself in relationships between family and esp. with God. OT/NT alike we show God love by obedience to His will his call his commands. God so loved the world he gave his only Son. This letter of love shows itself in a covenant of life death resurrection of Jesus plus his ascension. Then through the gifting of Holy Spirit. It is from the Spirit of God himself through Jesus in us did Paul show us that love is relational. 1 Corinthians 13 gives us the guide as to what godly love is. & it is poured out through Holy Spirit. In other words we are called to show God we love him by obeying and 1 Corinthians 16:14 Do everything in love. It is easy to ask how do we do that? By following God’s example (Ephesians 5:1-2). PRAY.
We are called to love one another. John 13:34-35, Romans 12:10, 13:8, Ephesians 4:2, 1 Thes. 4:9, 1 Peter 1:22,, 3:8, 1 John 3:11, 23, 4:7,11-12, 2 John 1:15
The question is how exactly to we do that. Have you seen the world? The world lives in a state of pride showing itself through entitlement, deception, corruption, lust and malice. Politics has divided us, skin color social class, denomination, bias from regions of the world & country, we have nearly forgotten to operate love your neighbor.
This means clothing ourselves in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience as God’s chosen people (Colossians 3:12).
This love is vertical and horizontal in its understanding and application, fulfilling the two greatest commandments.
This holiday season let’s wake up to the facts with 2 major points of loving one another. 1st
If you love what God has given you in Jesus Christ aka Yeshua Ha-Meshach as savior of the world you are called for a purpose. The 1st point is you show the love of God by obeying the calling to WAKE UP the sleeping world! This ministry has given you the tools to understand things in the Bible through prophecy & the love of God as well as what is happening in the world and why. You wake up the world by clothing yourself just as Col 3:12 calls us.
You may say I do not want to do that. You do not know what happened to me.
This leads us to the second major point of loving another: forgiveness. God forgives you. If you want forgiven by God you must forgive. Col 3:12 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Jesus calls us by giving us this truth Matthew 6:15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
The understanding of godly love is forgiving. It is giving to the point it is self-sacrificial. This replicates what God shows us in Yeshua.
